Founded by Siddarth Daga and his team of IIT Madras classmates, NeoMotion is on a mission to redefine mobility for people with disabilities and the elderly. The company builds high-quality, health-conscious assistive devices that promote independence and dignity.
What are they building?
NeoMotion develops mobility solutions that go beyond movement — they focus on enabling a healthier, more empowered lifestyle.
Their key offerings include:
Custom-engineered wheelchairs tailored to individual mobility and postural needs
Mobility devices that bridge the gap between functionality, comfort, and long-term health
Their products aim to replace inadequate, one-size-fits-all devices that often worsen users’ conditions.
The why?
Siddarth Daga
NeoMotion began not from personal experience, but from deep observation and a desire to apply engineering skills for meaningful impact. The founders, students of Professor Sujatha Srinivasan at IIT Madras, saw how poor mobility options were limiting the lives of people with disabilities in India.
They set out to create better — designing solutions that empower users to lead active, independent lives with dignity and safety at the core.
SEED Inclusivity Program Journey
Through the SEED Inclusivity Program, NeoMotion gained valuable exposure to new markets and global networks aligned with their mission to scale mobility solutions.
Key Outcomes During the Program:
Built relevant connections across Southeast Asia and Africa—regions that align with NeoMotion’s expansion roadmap.
Gained insights from mentor James, a professional with a locomotive disability, offering perspective on lived user experience in Thailand.
Used the Sigma platform to refine direct and indirect customer personas, improving internal clarity on market positioning.
Focused on team growth, including support from mentor Tom to recruit a Business Development Manager.
Participated in the Hyderabad meetup to engage with other entrepreneurs building inclusive solutions across the region.
Looking Ahead:
With a goal to impact 1 million lives by 2030, NeoMotion continues to expand its product portfolio and global reach. They are actively seeking partnerships with CSR arms, philanthropy organizations, insurers, hospital networks, and delivery platforms to drive inclusive employment and access to high-quality mobility tools.
“6 months of mentorship & advice and most importantly, networking.”
